Effects of using some herbicides in artichoke cultivation

In the one year field experiment the suitability of herbicides Azogard, Korab 50 and linurex in artichoke cultivation was investigated. The herbicides, especially Linurex and Azogard, were very effective in weeds overcoming, when used before seedling emergence. The phytotoxical effect of herbicides was not detected. Artichoke plants showed a high ability of competing with the weeds
