It was found that some mineral components in water used as the spray carrier prove antagonistic effect on the phytotoxicity of many herbicides. The use of proper selection of adjuvants and/or the decrease of water volume as a spray carrier are the proper ways of reducing the negative effect of minerals on herbicides performance
