Comparison of dietary monensin, lasolocid and flavomycin efficiency for improving the performance of growing-finishing bulls

An experiment on 40 bulls fed a diet supplemented with 125 mg of monensin (M), 125 mg of lasalocid (L) or 30 mg of flavomycin (F) during the growth from 220 up to 450 kg of body weight was carried out. Higher feedlot performance in all of experimental bulls than in control ones was stated. Higher weight gain and feed conversion efficiency as well as lower feed intake in bulls given the F diet than in those given the M diet and the L diet was obtained
