A field experiment conducted at the Rafi Ahmed Kidwai College of Agriculture, Sehore, India, for three years (1985/86 to 1987/88) showed that the application of 18 kg N + 46 kg P2OO2 + 20 kg K2O + 25 kg ZuSO4 per hectare significantly enhanced the seed yield and yield attributes of lentil (Lens culinaris Medik.). The sole application of any of 18 kg N, Rhizobium inoculation, 46 kg P2O5, 20 kg K2O or 56 kg S/ha, failed to improve seed yield over the control
