Effect of sowing structure on the intensity of wind erosion

The crops grown significantly affected the intensity of wind erosion. Potential drifting is decreased to 50 percent in the individual districts of the West Slovakia region (45.7 percent in Nitra district, 59.6 percent in Trnava district). The value of vegetative factor does not differ by districts. It is caused by the sowing structure on arable soil which is very similar in the districts of Western Slovakia.
