Fish fungal disease generally caused by family Saprolegniaceae in particular of genus Saprolegnia and Achlya are commonly found. Saprolegniasis appears like a cotton-wool covered on fish body. Generally, damage causing by other pathogens leads to fungus infection in fish. Fish usually becomes increasingly lethargic, weak and less responsive to external stimuli. Life cycle of Saprolegnia and Achlya is similar. Prevention and treatment of fungal diseases are included in this paper.
