Results of using aerial photographs and Landsat images with some ground truth in selected spot checks for studying the correlation between forest structure and topographic feature in Thailand. Showed that forest type which occurs in each region has close relationship with physiographic features, soil type, geology, and bioclimate factors consisting of annual rainfall, dry day, in each year and temperature.
