1986
Anant Maneerat | Chao Nunthadee (Mae Jo Tobacco Experiment Station, Chiang Mai (Thailand). Soil and Fertilizer Div.)
Experiment on application of nitrogen of nitrogen fertilizer at the rates of 0, 2, 3, 4 and 5 kg./rai with phosphate 5 kg./rai and potassium 12 kg./rai to Turkish tobacco was carried out at Mae Jo Tobacco Experiment Station from September 1985 to November 1986. The application of nitrogen fertilizer at the rate of 2 kg./rai produced the highest yield. Total nitrogen and nicotine content was lower but reducing sugars were higher than the analysis of the cured leaf produced in Greece and Turkey.
