Field experiments were conducted to make a comparative study on the influences of some foliar fertilizers on grain yield of rice varieties RD7 and RD23 at Rice Experiment Station, Department of Agronomy, Kamphangsaen Campus, Kasetsart University during September 1983 to February 1984. A factorial in randomized complete block design (RCB) with 4 replications of 5 foliar fertilizers (Urea, Biotiga-R, Detoga, Narod-99 and Mixtalol) within 12 methods of fertilizer application were used in this experiment. Results of the experiment indicated that all foliar fertilizers significantly increased grain yield of both RD7 and RD23. However, among these forliar fertilizers and methods of applications, using urea at the rate of 8.608 kg/rai applied 2 times in addition to basal application of 16-20-0 at the rate of 30 kg/rai seems to be the most practical and economical one because it gave the best average grain yield of 856 kg/rai.
