Comparison of sugarcane yield from various bud sett

Setts of F140 and Q83 sugar cane varieties with different number of bud per sett i.e. 1, 2, 3 buds grown at Suphan Buri FCRC and Rayong FCRC during 1983-1985. The results in three years, (plant cane, 1st ratoon and 2nd ratoon) can be summarized that there was no significance in the yield of sugar cane in any number of bud sett used. Two buds sett trend to produce the highest yield with low in put.
