The paper points to the importance of cattle breeding in agricultural production in Montenegro (Yugoslavia), where cattle is found practically in every agricultural household. The paper also provides the number of cattle, species composition, as well as the tendencies of changes, the structure of the herd and irregular fertilization as the factors of reproduction disorders and infectious agents of cow infertility.
