In this paper IPV virus isolation from a two year old heifer is reported, with the clinical venereal form of IBR-IPV infection in Communal Land farming system in Zimbabwe. The presenting signs included oedema, and hyperemia of the vulva and vaginal mucosae. IBR-IPV virus was isolated from a swab taken from the lesion. Paired sera taken 10 days apart indicated seroconversion from a titre of less than 1:8 to more than 1:256 and the isolate was neutralised by specific IBR-IPV antiserum
