The technical and economical analysis of reconstructive works on drainage systems

By the optional express-inventory data on drained lands and drainage systems, out of the present 643,00 ha drained area 31,8 per cent stays in good condition, 58,9 per cent in satisfactory and 11,3 per cent in bad condition. On the basis of economical analysis of management, repair and reconstructive works on drainage systems we can say that drainage systems in peatlands and heavy loams (it is profitable only up to 20 years) and for technical reasons even on sandy soils it is not economic to reconstruct badly-working systems
