This chapter summarizes the studies' major findings from Adama Bose. These include issues that affect household food security and livelihood strategies such as demography, land tenure arrangements, capacity of the crop production and the livestock sub-sectors and factors affecting them, family labour use and allocation, non-farm and off-farm income earning opportunities, food security issues in their wider context, and issues of targeting resource-poor households. The chapter also provides some key recommendations for reducing vulnerability to current and future risks of food insecurity.
