Agroclimatic Potential of the Arid and Semiarid Zones of Ethiopia

For the success of agricultural development, agroclimatic information is very essential. As Ethiopia's economy mainly depends on agriculture sector, it should be given more emphasis. This paper tries to summarize the results of agricultural risk at few selected locations in Ethiopia climatic fluctuation in the precipitation data of Ethiopia during the period of the meteorological record, and the broad climatic zones of Ethiopia with regard to arid and semi-arid areas.
