[The effect of two layers application of basal dressing for maize]

The application of N P K fertilizer for maize as a basal dressing into two layers of soil was increased to 911 kg per hectare owing to the increment of growth and root development as compared with shallow layer application. It is rational to apply 70% of total basal dressing to 15 cm depth and the remained basal fertilizer to 5 cm depth in maize field
