"Castor bean no.2" is a new yielding variety of female type which has traits of stable plant type. The nodes of main stalk are little and the pedicle is long. Number of cauline nodes in the castor of female type has negative correlation to the productive traits; number of available raceme, number of capsules in primary raceme and in a plant, etc. Color of stalk in the castor is hereditary by the law of incomplete dominance, and the green stalk of it is dominated by a pair of recessive genes
