Influence of tiller density and arena size on the functional response of the wolf spider Pardosa pseudoannulata (Boes. et strand).

Almazan, M.L.P. | Heong, K.L.
A common method to measure predation in the laboratory is using functional response experiments. Often, these experiments are conducted using experimental arenas designed to emulate field conditions as closely as possible. The influence of tiller number and size of experimental arena on searching of Pardosa pseudoannulata on brown planthopper was studied. Clearly, tiller number as well as arena size affected the searching efficiency of the wolf spider
