Humus content in soil under conditions of simplified crop rotation and fertilization with straw, manure and nitrogen

It was observed that organic fertilization (manure and straw) caused an increase of C-organic despite the fact that plants reducing organic matter content were cultivated. Application of a nitrogen fertilizer in a form of straw had positive influence on organic matter content in soils under investigation. When an additional amount manure was applied, nitrogen fertilization had negative effect on C-organic accumulation
