Evaluation to fluoroglycofene-ethyl used in cereal crops

Herbicide Compete 240 EC (fluoroglycofen-ethyl) was investigated in 1990-92 both on small plots and large fields. This compound gave a good control of dicotyledonous plants both as alone herbicide and with other herbicides (Chwastox extra, U-46-M Fluid, Chwastox D, Aminopielik D and P, Granstar 75 DF, Banvel 480, Puma Super and Isoguard). Average yield increase was 12 percent, however in many cases very good weed control was obtained (80-100 percent) even in the fields where Galium aparine and Viola arvensis were present
