In the two year field experiment a possibility of artichoke control was investigated by: mowing artichoke for a green crop, cultivation of oat and field pea mixture in main crop and aftercrop, cultivation of corn as well as spring wheat, using a herbicide from 2,4-D group, as successive crops. Total elimination of artichoke plants was obtained after cultivation of oat and field pea mixture in the main crop and aftercrop as well as after using a herbicide from 2,4-D group
