Importance of humus in copper adsorption by black earths

Three black earths different in their sit and clay content were used in the study. The analyses showed that copper adsorption increased with the diminishing of soil particle size. However, the amount of copper adsorbed by sit and clay fractions depended on their organic carbon content. The lower content of total C the lower amount of adsorbed copper was found
