The amount of N and Mg in the tubers decreases if the potato blossoming length increases. In some early maturation groups the increasing time from occurrence of flowering buds till the beginning of blossoming causes increase of phosphorus in tubers, and decreases the potassium amount. Prolonged blooming also does not increase potassium content. However the Ca accummulation depends on plant growth rate
