An experiment on 5 red deer stags given testosterone (T) or stilbestrol injections (S) during the antler growth (May-June) was carried out. The significant stimulatory effect of T and S on sexual and mating behaviour in red deer stags was observed. No stimulatory effect of T and S injections on spermatogenesis in red deer stags was stated
