The effects of non-bormonal anabolic agent zeranol on growth, meat productivity physical-chemical and morphological characteristics of meat quality, development of internal organs and testicles and behaviour of animals as well were studied in long-term production experiments for calves. Influence of zeranol on meat productivity and meat quality under moderately intensive growing calves up to 400-500 kg of live bull was established to be positive
