Role of intestine content antibodies in prevention of coronaviral enteritis in calves

Data are presented on the accumulation dynamics of anticoronaviral colostral antibodies in blood and intestine content of new-born calves; their role in the prevention of coronaviral enteritis is discussed. Results of the studies showed that level of colostral antibodies in blood and faeces of calves depended on their titre in colostrum fed to calves. Colostral antibodies in the titre of 5.0 log2 and more prevented the growth of bovine coronavirus
