The technique of ultrasound guided fine-needle percutaneous aspiration biopsy of liver in dogs has been tested. The most convenient needle regarding the quantity and quality of obtained material has been established. Great attention has been paid to the preparation of slides. At the same time reactions and behavior of the dogs during the procedure have been followed. The results have shown, that the method is convenient for clinical diagnostics of liver diseases. It is simple, safe and effective and gives quick results
