The effect of immissions on the content of chemical elements in the forest soils in Slovakia

The results of the chemical analyses of soil samples taken from cover humus and surface horizons of the forest soils in air-polluted and relatively clean regions of the Slovak Republic are evaluated. Total amounts of Cd, As, Pb, Zn, Cu, S accumulated in the soils, eventually of other microelements in the dependance on the degree of immission load of studied region are assessed.
