Composting trials from corn and soybean plants in the second year found that the population of pathogenic fungi, Helminthosporium maydis and Curvularia lunata on corn plants, and Colletotrichum dematium var. truncata on soybean plant, were decreased. The compost making with activator B-2 decreased the amount of these plant pathogens within 20-30 days of biodegradation process in compost piles.
