Investigation of fertilization influence on soybean yield

The present paper discusses results obtained in four-year investigation of the influence of fertilization with different sorts and doses of fertilizers on yield and yield components of soybean grain. Experiments were carried out in pots on a soil-sand mixture, in a thin crop, and with good water supply. A significant average increase of yield in relation to the unfertilized control was achieved only when fertilization was with phosphorus and phosphorus together with a medium dose of nitrogen from calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN). The average yields of the other nutritional treatments did not differ statistically significantly from the control. The yield size and fertilizer effect varied by years.
