Agrobiological characteristics of the variety Riesling Italian under the conditions of the Orahovac vineyard district [Serbia, Yugoslavia]

Movement and fertility of the buds and shoots significantly varies depending on the climate conditions during the investigated years. From the average point of view, the normal value of all the significators of the fertility have been realised. The yield of grape for the investigated period was varied from 16,297 to 21,468 kg/ha. The average content of sugar in the grape juice was 21.2 and average content of the total acids was 7.15 g/l. The climate conditions exhibited big influence on the values of the investigated significators. The results of the investigations have shown that in Orahovac vineyard district (Serbia, Yugoslavia) the variety Riesling Italian exhibit very positive biological properties.
