Specific relatioship between Azotobacter chroococcum and some pepper varieties

It was studied the effect of Azotobacter chroococcum strains on length, mass and nitrogen content in the above-ground part and root of two pepper varieties. Nine strains of Azotobacter were studied according to the method of sand culture for their efficiency. The plants were grown in sterilized sand and watered with nitrogen-free nutritive solution for 30 days. The efficiency of azotobacter strains depended on the strain and pepper variety. Two studied strains increased all studied characteristics of both pepper varieties. The studied strains had the strongest effect on length and mass of plants and nitrogen content in them. The studied strains were most efficient with the variety Novosadska bela babura.
