The defining of the air flow resistance of hops layers of 25, 55 and 85 cm height, during the solar drying, was the goal of the investigation. The specific air flow resistance Dp/h was found to be higher with lower hops layers. The solar dryer based on plastic greenhouse can be successfully used for drying of hops layers up to 90 cm height.
