[A research of clinical application of monoclonal antibody to infectious bronchitis virus in chickens]

With purified anti-IBV IgG from rabbit acting as the first antibody, McAb to IBV acting as the second antibody, a double-antibody sandwich ELISA was established to diagnose IBV. The best working parameters were as follows: polyclonal antibody IgG coating concentration 1:80 diluted; McAb 1:40 diluted; colour developing time 30 min. It's a quick, convenient, effective and specific method to detect IBV. The sick chicken could be cured by taking McAbs (1:10) 1 ml per chicken one time, and the healthy chickens haven't any hypersensitive reaction after taking the McAbs. By using the McAb preparation, a safe remedy system and diagnosis method have been set up.
