Results of testing pheromone traps for the pea moth

The work presents the results of testing five different pheromone dispenser variants for the pea moth (Laspeyresia nigricana) prepared at the laboratory of organic synthesis of Tartu University. Considering the results of the catch of five different dispensers, the most attractive dispenser for L. nigricana was HM-103 and 103MK had a smaller catching capacity, while catches with dispensers HM-3 proved to be close to zero. Dispensers HM-623, 103MK cannot be considered species-specific since they caught Lithocolletis agilella and L. blancardella in great numbers. Dispensers HM-3 and HM-3MK attracted two other species of moth - Hedya ochroleucana and Notocelia suffusana. It is too early to present comparative estimates concerning the material of the dispensers since the amount of data is so far insufficient
