Rootstock influence on yield and quality of five scions was studied on chip-budded plants. Data collected over 9 1/2 years indicated that rootstock of clones STC 5/3, 7/14 and 31/8 did not influence the yields substantially. The quality of the scion clones as measured by tasters evaluation, the amount of theaflavins, thearubigins and caffeine was not significantly affected by grafting
