The essential factor influencing on the solubility of zinc in soil acidity. Content of soluble Zn by increase of soil acidity is reduced in an index and a function way. The symptoms of zinc deficit in soil appears not in the little content according to soil acidity, but in the decrease of soluble zinc content. The soil acidity has influence on the mobility of zinc sulphate in the applied fertilizer and on absorption of plants. The soil scientific index on the effect of zinc fertilizer in paddy and non-paddy fields has relation to the content of soluble zinc but its base is soil acidity
