Results of the grain flow investigation

During the harvesting season of 1987 grain flow was investigated at a cooperative plant of primary processing in the central part of Latvia. Grain was brought to the plant by lorries 737 times in the period of 16 days. Delivery time, crop variety, grain weight, cleanliness and grain moisture content were recorded for each load separately. The arithmetic mean of weight distribution, the average grain moisture and cleanness as well as the standard deviation values were determined. Dynamics of the grain flow was investigated as the daily process as well as that of the whole harvesting season.
