[The dynamics of the nucleic acids and proteins content in the grain plantlets during vernalization]

The dynamics of nucleic acids and proteins in the plantlets of two kinds of grain: Mironovskaya 808 (autumn) and Mironovskaya yarovaya (spring) during the action of low (vernalizational) temperatures was investigated. It was shown that the dynamics of changes of these biochemical compounds depending on plantlets' mass growing can be decribed by the Haxley equation. During all the period of low temperature influence a gradual enrichment of plantlets cells with protein in comparison with the contents of the nucleic improverichment in the some component contents (protein) in comparison with the dry mass as noticed. Thus, due to the use of this procedure, the explanation of the contradictory data concerning the accumulation of nucleic acids and proteins in plants during the vernalization became possible.
