In 3-year experiment 4 cultivars of Brussels sprouts: Akropolis F1, Dolmic F1, Citadel F1 and Lunet F1 produced from potted and non-potted transplants were planted in the field in the first half of July, with spacing 60x40 cm. The growing of early cultivars of the Brussels sprouts Akropolis and Dolmic after early potatoes was found to be practicable. The average duration of field use by these 2 species was 215 days in the year. Marketable yield of Brussels sprouts varied from 4.0 to 12.4 t/ha depending on the year and the applied treatment. The use of potted transplants resulted in the production of greater number of sprouts per plant. Also the yield was higher in this case
