Effect of mechanical vibration on rat behaviour

From the research works of some authors it appears that rats avoid places, where ultrasonic waves generations are placed. In the article there has been introduced an influence of the particular parameters of ultrasonic waves on rats behaviour. It has been stated that the most effective wave to scare the rodents away is the one with rectangular shape of characteristic, frequency of vibration 26 kHz and intensity above 100 dB
