Contributions to the establishment of the harvest period for the sweet wood

Because of the increasing demand of sweet Glycyrrhiza glabra L. - for the pharmaceutical industry, the medicinal plant is going to be considered a crop. The paper presents a low input crop technology economically efficient for this plant. The experiments showed that in July, in the Danube Delta area, the sweet wood plants contain the biggest concentration of glicirisinic acid. There have been described several productive crop lines, with high content of active principles.
