Agrobiological characterisation of some Chinese mulberry varieties

The researches carried out during 1990-1992 on the agrobiological characterisation of a number of 5 Chinese mulberry varieties in order to use them in the amelioration programme showed a high variability of the studied traits, which reflects their genetic availability. The varieties Than and Huan-lo were noticed for their leaf production and the variety Huan-lo for its resistance to frost.
