Irrigation of a meadow-alluvial soil by purified industrial sewage waters with salt concentrations 758 - 1319 mg/l, the concentration of sulphates being 437 - 745 mg/l, causes the increase of exchangeable sodium concentration, the decrease of nitrates accumulation and cellulose decomposition rate, whereas the structurizing effect of sludges is evident, and Ch.a./Cf.a. ratio increases. The yield of grasses (dry mass) and their nutrition capacity are the same as in the variant with river waters used for irrigation
