The effect of rates and forms of potassic fertilizers on organic matter of gray forest soil

Using differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential thermogravimetry (DTG), it has been shown that application of mineral fertilizers in combination with manure in field crop rotation on gray forest soil changes quantitative and qualitative composition of humus. Application of potassic fertilizers over NP background reduces humus content increasing in the soil. Changes in humus content depending on different forms and rates of potassic fertilizers are primarily connected with "free" organic matter (burning at 300-450 degree C). The amount of this part of humus decreases in the sequence: potash chloride - potash magnesia - potassium sulphate - melted phosphate
