Genetic analysis of efficiency of triticale anther culture in vitro

Androgenic triticale lines, obtained by in vitro cultivation, and their hybrids from diallelic crosses were compared to determine efficiency of induction of neoformations in F1 hybrids with different expression of productivity traits. The heterotic effect on quantitative traits was evaluated in triticale hybrid plants obtained from the cultivated lines. It was demonstrated that genetic control of induction of calluses and embryos is mainly determined by overdominance. Lines with the maximal number of dominant alleles of genes controlling the increase of the studied trait were revealed
