The influence of saccharose on nitrate content in spinach

A statistically provable decrease of nitrate content in leaves and a promoted biomass formation were achieved by the application of saccharose on spinach leaves 1 week before harvest. A low volume weight of Terravita and a relatively sufficient content of organic substances eliminated the negative influence of high salt concentration on the spinach plants.
