The structural analysis of microbial biocoenosis of the hydromelioration channels shows that the actinomycetes, the higher fungi and yeasts represent the dominant portion of microbial coenosis. The microorganisms significantly influenced the degradation processes together with the total cycle of matter and energy in sediments. While the biomass and microorganism activity are controlled by the content of organic matter, the microflora structure depends primarily on the quality of organic matter and on the rate of mineralization processes. Bacteria of the Enterobacteriaceae family and myxobacteria in the sediment environment find appropriate conditions for their growth and reproduction during the whole year.
