Comparison of the efficacy of neem seed kernel extracts and spraying methods for controlling cabbage insect pests

First experiment showed 4 % of neem seed kernel extracted with methanol 1 was better than other formulations since it could control P. xylostella, S. litura and H. undalis and had same efficacy as chlorfluazuron. Second experiment revealed 5 % of neem seed kernel extracted solution of Nlm (extracted with methanol and water) was most effective in controlling P. xylostella. It was noted in third test LV method spraying with Nlm motorised knapsack mistblower gave good results both on controlling cabbage insect pests and with high productivity.
