The investigation was carried out with R2 ram crosses with Wuertemberg. Urea and benural were added to ground corn grain immediately before the ensiling on the level of 0.5 and 1.0. In silages with added urea and benural, the increase of crude protein content was noticed. On the basis of organic acids content in silage, the evaluation was performed according to FLIEG and all of them were appraised as very good. The change in pH-value is due to urea degradation and ammonia releasing. The pH-value ranges from 4.05 in control silage to 4.55 in silage with 1.0 of urea. The coefficients of apparent digestibility for all the diets showed the high value, and the values within the treatments did not differ essentially except in the crude protein digestibility, and ranged between 66.09 (control silage) and 78.74 (silage with 1.0 of urea).
